Job Description:

Intel's Technology Development - Analytics and Technology Automation (TD ATA) organization is seeking a talented Principal software engineer with deep expertise in supply chain systems to design and develop our next generation Engineering Planning systems as part of the Factory Data Systems (FDS) organization. As a hands-on Software Engineer and senior technical leader in FDS, you will work closely with multiple teams to deliver next generation solutions to automate factory operations and planning. This includes prototyping, designing, developing next generation solutions that will be used for managing data, modeling and analysis for supply planning and execution. This also includes a variety of projects in Client, middleware, database, data visualization and analytics. You will be expected to lead and drive projects through the entire software development life cycle from requirements to implementation.

Required Skills:

  • Planning using SAP SCM platform, SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
  • Multiple integration techniques like Rest API, RFC, CPI-DS, etc.
  • Data and User Interface augmentation for SAP.
  • SQL proficiency in any of the common relational database platforms, e.g., Oracle, MS SQL, etc.
  • Object Oriented software design and/or development and building distributed systems
  • Experience leading projects and a team of developers through the complete software development lifecycle.
  • Analyzing new and evolving business requirements and mapping them to technical requirements.
  • Demonstrated track record of designing, developing, and deploying successful supply chain systems and solutions for complex manufacturing processes.



Preferred Skills:

  • Data analytics and data visualization experience.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (with 15+ years of relevant experience) or master's degree (with 12+ years of relevant experience) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
  • 10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management systems and processes
