Principal Salesforce Administrator
How You’ll Support Our Mission
ESO is looking for a Principal Salesforce Administrator to join our team. In this role, you’ll support 400+ end users across various functional areas (Sales, Customer Success, Customer Support, Marketing, Finance, Contracts) leveraging Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Revenue Cloud. You will have the opportunity to work with multiple stakeholders to deliver solutions that are highly scalable using best practices while creatively pushing the limits of the Salesforce platform.
You will report to the Director of Enterprise Revenue Systems as part of our Revenue Systems team. This position is based out of the Des Moines, Iowa office, but for the right candidate can be located anywhere in the United States.
What You’ll Be Doing - The Day to Day
- Maintain and customize Sales, Service, Revenue Cloud platforms within the Lightning Experience UI
- Design and deploy consistent and reliable Aura Components, Lightning Web Components, APEX triggers and classes, and Visualforce pages
- Understand Enterprise Data Management strategies and how legacy data, manual entry and new data are maintained and optimized.
- Taking ownership of project work and developing client relationships - a confident self-starter
- Conducting ad-hoc data and configuration analysis, at request, providing insights and recommendations for innovative improvements
- Core system administration of standard and custom objects, e.g.: creation, modification, and removal of record types, page layouts, fields, validation rules, buttons/actions, and lightning record pages
- Write and deploy test code coverage, maintaining 100% coverage for the organization
- Transition declarative automation from Workflow, Process Builder to Flow or APEX
- Identify bugs and align with requirements during debugging
- Core system administration of users, e.g.: creation and modification of users, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and org-wide defaults
- Support users with escalated support issues and break/fix identification
- Basic understanding of PowerBI and how to leverage capabilities for Salesforce reporting
- Continuously monitor data quality and present opportunities to optimize and rationalize processes

- A desire to implement best practice solutions
- Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
- Gathering requirements and proposing technical solutions
- Training users and creating training materials
- Understanding of Salesforce sharing and security (roles, profiles, permissions, OWD, sharing rules)
Who You Are - The Desirables (It’s a plus if you have):
- Certifications: Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant Admin, Service Cloud Consultant, User Experience Designer, User Experience Designer
- Experience with CPQ, Demand Tools, Identity Management, Integrations (Dell Boomi), NetSuite ERP
