Job Description:

Fidelity Brokerage Technology (FBT) is seeking a Principal Mobile Engineer for a unique opportunity to accelerate implementation of novel and creative digital money movement solutions for our Plynk mobile app. You will be part of a team whose focus will be to experiment and learn by creating Proof of Concepts for new capabilities Our mission is to ensure investing is inclusive for all audiences by removing barriers that prevent participation. The Expertise You Have

  • BS or above in Computer Science or related field
  • 6+ years' experience in software application design & development; mobile development
  • Working experience in an Agile environment
  • Knowledge of financial services brokerage operations, services and technology systems preferred

The Skills You Bring

  • Experience with iOS and Android development in a hybrid tech stack (Ionic/Capacitor/Cordova) Client-Side development - Angular, NgRx, CSS, HTML
  • Knowledge of web services (JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, etc.) and Spring Framework with integrating with APIs and RESTful web services
  • Understanding and insight of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, and XCode Server and deploying applications in a DevOps environment
  • In-depth knowledge secure coding standards and practices
  • Code Quality/Coverage Tools (Sonar or equivalent) Test/Automation (Jest, Cypress, Cucumber, or any similar framework)
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with multiple teams across the organization
  • Knowledge of cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Certifications a plus
  • Experience with logging and monitoring tools; DataDog, Splunk, etc. for analysis, observability, and alerting

The Team

As a member of the Digital Brokerage Solutions Technology Domain, you will collaborate with product owners, developers, architecture, UXD, and application teams to build technical designs that simplify investing within our digital experience!
