The Principal Enterprise Architect position for international integration requires many different skills and experiences to lead the vision, approach and solution for Enterprise Technology global services.

The Enterprise Architects role and responsibility is to ensures alignment of Business Strategies, Technology Solutions, and COX Automotive Priorities. This is accomplished by facilitating and creating a series of diagrams and presentations that define the solution, system flows, data integration, and processes for Enterprise Technology initiatives.

The Enterprise Architect mush have a strong understanding or Enterprise Technology Solution as well as project management, facilitation and presentation skills.

Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, this is a temporary work from home role but will ultimately work in the Atlanta, GA office.

Enterprise Architecture Skills

A successful Principal Enterprise Architect should possess the following skills:

  • Communications, both verbal (e.g.: presentations, seminars, etc.), and written (e.g.: reports, articles, etc.).
  • Group session facilitation
  • Marketing ("selling" the results of architectural approaches through presentations).
  • Technical analysis and process design.
  • Modeling and graphical representations of complex systems.
  • Project Management

Key Roles and Responsibilities for a Principal Enterprise Architect

  • The Successful Enterprise Architect Will Have Many Responsibilities. While the following is not exhaustive, it does represent some of the key responsibilities:
  • Establishing cross-program, and cross-project architecture solutions for COX Automotive global technology services.
  • Lead design for complex initiatives with the collaboration and input from peer Solution Architects and Technical Architects.
  • Provide consultant support in business process analysis, solution design, and service delivery.
  • Ensure conformance and compliance of projects and programs with architecture guidelines and the enterprise strategic vision.
  • Update and maintain key Enterprise Architecture deliverables and diagrams.
  • Research and evaluate new technology solution to support Business and Technology initiatives.

Specific Duties

  • The Enterprise Architect is responsible for the development and/or coordination of the following deliverables:
  • Design and document the Enterprise Architecture solution for International Integration.
  • Coordinating Architecture activities locally and globally.
  • Assist in the design, solution and alignment of global business and enterprise initiatives.
  • Audit the compliance within the Enterprise Architecture standards for international solutions.
  • Serve as an advisor to senior business and technology management for information related to international integration.
  • Foundational understanding and experience designing Back Office systems and Enterprise Technology solutions.
  • SFDC, SFMC and CPQ solution
  • AWS Cloud Services and Integration Solution
  • Oracle EBS, RMB and other Billing platforms
  • Informatica and MDM solution
  • MicroSoft M365 and Teams collaboration tools
  • ServiceNow ITOM, ITSM and CMDB
  • Service Enablement and HelpDesk ticket management platforms
  • OKTA, OIG and SSO integration
  • Qualys, Kenna, Akamai and other Security tools
  • DataCenter Storage, Compute and Network solutions
  • Lucid Charts and Visio diagram tools

Qualifications:

Minimum Skills/Experience:

  • Where permitted by applicable law, must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to be considered for this U.S. based job. (Reasonable accommodations for medical and religious objections will be considered.)
  • Minimum of 8 - 10 years' experience leading Engineering and/or Architecture solutioning
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience is required
  • Demonstrated design and strategy experience supporting Enterprise initiatives
  • Expert Visio and Lucid chart documentation experience
  • Experience with SFDC, CPQ, Oracle EBS, Workday solution preferred
