As a DRAM Engineering Group (DEG) Product Engineering PE DFT Principal Engineer (DRAM Array Core) at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be expected to serve as a technical authority in Micron to provide innovative solutions to complex problems pertaining to DRAM array coverage in the manufacturing test flow. You will also define and lead projects to improve Micron's manufacturing test strategy to enable product time-to-market and ramp to exceed business expectations, while maintaining agility to support high volume manufacturing through life of product across compute DRAM products. You will provide technical leadership within the department to help shape and drive strategic direction of DRAM array testing driven by requirements from advancements in scaling, new process technologies and product architectures.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Debug and identify root causes for failures using manufacturing data and electrical failure analysis techniques; and then define and drive solutions to improve manufacturing test coverage strategies to achieve best-in-industry product quality and cost.


  • Collaborate and provide technical guidance with Test Department to execute test flow strategies.


  • Provide innovative solutions for new DFT and product architectures to enhance testing capability or to improve product performance.


  • Define and lead projects across cross-functional teams to find solutions to complex technical problems on product manufacturing test coverage.


  • Provide mentorship to engineers.


Preferred Experience:

  • Knowledge of DRAM architecture and functionality


  • Circuit level simulation and debug experience


  • Experience with Shell Scripts (Perl, Unix, Batch, Python, etc.)


  • Experience with Test Equipment (Teradyne, C1D, Ambyx, SM3, Advantest)


Successful candidates for this position will have:

Education:
A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science is required and 3+ years' experience in DRAM Engineering technical leadership.
