We are looking for a passionate Principal Memory Circuit Design Verification Engineer.
What You Will Be Doing
In this position, you will collaborate with Micron's various design and verification teams all over the world and support the efforts of groups such as Product Engineering, Test, Probe, Process Integration, Assembly and Marketing to proactively design products that optimize all manufacturing functions and assure the best cost, quality, reliability, time-to-market, and customer satisfaction.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Drive and develop product verification process by planning, simulating, analyzing and debugging pre-silicon full chip designs.
- Develop Test cases/Stimulus to increase the functional coverage for DRAM memory architectures and features.
- Develop and maintain test benches and test vectors using simulation tools and run regressions for coverage analysis and improvements.
- Co-work with international colleagues on developing new verification flows to take on the challenges in DRAM design.
- Participate in developing verification methodology and verification environments for advanced DRAM products.
- Train and mentor inexperienced engineers with various technical subjects
Education & Experience Necessary for Success
- BS or MS (preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent and 7+ years of relevant work experience. Job title is scalable depending on your background.
- Good understanding of CMOS circuit design.
- Must have gate level circuit design/verification experience.
- Familiar with analog/digital simulation tools, i.e. HSPICE, System Verilog, FINESIM, SimVision
- Must possess good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in System Verilog, VPI/PLI, Python coding preferred
- Experience in UVM Test Bench preferred
- Experience in leading small or large projects preferred
- Previous work experience in DRAM memory related fields is a plus
- Any ASIC or RTL design verification experience is a plus
