Cloud and Network Services

Cloud and Network Services is a leading Nokia business group that offers Network solutions on Core, Business and Enterprise segments, as well as Cloud solutions and Cognitive Services. It is a newly formed business group, that includes most of the former Nokia Software business, Nokia's enterprise solutions, core network solutions including both voice and packet core, and managed and advanced services from its former Global Services unit. This unit will also act as a delivery channel of certain products from other business groups to enterprise customers. Cloud and Network Services (CNS) will target growth by leveraging the industry transition to cloud-based delivery, network-as-a-service business models, and software-led value creation.

What you will learn and contribute to

Looking for skilled candidates to come in and contribute immediately to a very aggressive Nokia solution validation
and deployment program which includes end-to-end protected platforms for solution integration and testing,
• Test Plan development, to support Test Plan execution, along with development and Test script integration, to support Test script execution and debug, and Test Results documentation.• Validate, identify and report issues related to the solution architecture, the solution and element features, the product(s) stability, gold standard parameters for integration, migration tools, mirroring, other aspects related to a quality deliverable for the customer.• Provide thorough technical analysis of issues found during the testing, including opening and follow through to closure with Product units (internal) , 3rd Party/4th Party vendors, and services teams.

As part of our team, you will:

• Contributes to and improve Systems Integration (SI) delivery process.
• Creates architecture, design, implementation plan for complex projects and technical infrastructure documents.
• Owns rollback, migration and disaster recovery procedures.
• Interfaces with product lines, solution management and project management teams.
• Contributes to communities, team development and knowledge sharing.
• Documents knowledge using available tools for EG discussion forum, solution database, Yammer, Sharepoint, ShareNet, ShareInside.
• Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes and services.

Your skills and experience

You have knowledge in the areas of

• Advanced knowledge of Linux Operating System e.g deploying updates, and analyzing logs
• Experience in deploying, Integrating, and configuring application on cloud using CBIS/CBAM or Kubernetes
• Knowledge of ansible playbooks, automation using tools like chef is recommended
• Knowledge of 3GPP specifications and LTE architecture is recommended
• Analytic skills of analyzing Wireshark logs from LTE interfaces and related protocols (Diameter, LDAP, SOAP, HTTP(S))
• Knowledge of working with SPML over HTTP strongly recommended
• Experience related to administration of subscriber data in customer networks (e.g based on LDAP database)
• Knowledge of and experience supporting, XML and JAVA technologies.
• Knowledge of NDS, Registers (HSS) is recommended
• Good written and verbal English skills

It would be nice if you also had:

• Knowledge of and experience supporting, XML and JAVA technologies.
• Knowledge of working with SPML over HTTP
• Knowledge of PGW plugin architecture and interworking
