Platform Operations Engineer
We are currently looking for a Development Operations Engineer to join our Platform Operations Team. This position requires someone who is a passionate learner, an independent thinker, works well collaboratively across multiple disciplines, and is conformable working with a variety of people and technology stacks. About the role:
- Provide hands-on technical experience to a DevOps engineering team
- Deliver product knowledge around cloud, virtualization, and containerization technologies
- Collaborate with different teams to continuously support the Agile environment
- Partnering with product managers and other operations team members to deploy applications
- Successfully adopt DevOps tools and technologies that will ensure all compliance requirements are met
- Use dashboards for deployments, log analysis, usage metrics, and cost metrics for cloud services
- Take action on alerting for Production Support to proactively handle application issues
- Automate DevOps processes and improve operational efficiency
- Use CICD workflows for deploying Web application into dev, test, stage, and prod environments and legacy deployments for Citrix hosted applications
- Promote and maintain highly available cloud infrastructure
About you
- 2-4 years of experience working within DevOps teams
- 2+ years of experience in working Citrix
- 2+ years of experience in working scripting languages such PowerShell or Python
- 2+ years of experience working in an AWS cloud infrastructure
- 2+ years of experience in monitoring solutions such as CloudWatch, Datadog, or equivalent
- Hands-on experience with Distributed Version Control System such as GIT, AWS Code Commit, or equivalent
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration, including experience with tools such as AWS Developer tools, Jenkins or AWS Code Pipelines
- Excellent technical knowledge of operating systems (Linux and Windows)
- Educational Qualification: BA in Computer Science or Equivalent.
