What you'll be doing

Pega Developer (Pega Certified Senior Systems Architect) .

Qualifications:

  • MANDATORY: Should be a Pega Certified Senior Systems Architect (CSSA) completed before 2017 AND with 5 or more years of Pega PRPC 6.x/7.x/8.x development experience AFTER CSSA certification
  • MANDATORY: 2 Years Experience in Pega OOTB REST APIs & understanding of APIs integration with non-Pega applications (Pega-React / Pega-Angular / Pega-Java etc)
  • 7 + years of software development experience required.
  • Experience working in Pega Case Management
  • Experience with DX API will be preferred
  • Knowledge about latest UI technologies (Pega Cosmos, Angular etc.) will be preferred.
  • Detailed Knowledge of PRPC design and implementation topics including Rules, Class Design, Security, Flows, Adapters, Services and Connectors.
  • Excellent object-oriented analysis, design, programming for web services and system integration skills.
  • Working knowledge and experience in Java, SQL, PL/SQL.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient understanding of SDLC process desired.
  • Skill in diagnosing and solving complex problems and providing detailed technical analysis.
  • Solid experience with XML, Web Services, HTTP, SOAP, REST, SQL, and DBMS (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
  • Experience in Pega Implementation Methodology/Agile development.


Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

Design, develop and test applications using Pega PRPC 8.X and DX API V2 (headless implementation - integration of Pega with Angular application)

Follows established coding standards and techniques during design/development and assists in establishing/improving standards with continuous feedback.

Utilizes design patterns that comply with Enterprise security policies and guidelines.

Works with Business Analysts, Lead System Architects, Technical Analysts, and Integration Testing teams to ensure quality of code developed meets the functional, technical and security requirements.

Works with offshore development team members to conduct design reviews, code reviews and unit test reviews; Act as a technical guide for junior team members.

Involved in integrating on-shore and off-shore code, leveraging DevOps pipelines.

Creates business and technical processes and procedures with input from business teams, development, and IT Support.

Shows a strong attention to detail and produces high-quality code.

Maintains proficiency and develops expertise in the application and use of systems, tools, and processes needed for the development and ongoing maintenance of the application.
