What is the role?
Partner Solution Engineering Director - Remote, USA
We are looking for a senior technical expert with rich experience with the cloud data ecosystem to help our prospects and customers unleash ThouhtSpot's full potential. This is a subject matter expert who will also help with training and enablement of ThoughtSpot's Solution Engineering team.
What you'll do:
- Lead strategy, management & implementation/integration for all partners
- Build and support the technical relationships with ThoughtSpot's cloud partners (Snowflake, Databricks, GPC, Azure, AWS)
- Drive ThoughtSpot's revenue through enablement and support of strategic partners
- Present ThoughtSpot's portfolio and benefits to prospective customers and partners
- Distill and communicate partner needs and product feedback to Product Management, Engineering, Marketing and Sales
- Develop domain expertise and thought leadership regarding the partners' current areas of focus as well as in new areas for expansion
- Provide leadership and enablement to ThoughtSpot's Solution Engineering team
What you bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or a comparable field is preferred
- 7+ years of technical sales or solution architect experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with database/data-warehouse implementations in cloud environments
- I would add cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts
- An ability to quickly communicate complex ideas around a technical topic
