Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Oracle developer to support back end development. You will be part of a team responsible for developing new applications, as well as maintaining and updating existing tools. The developer will play an integral part in the project life cycle and work closely with team members from initial concept to final release.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Must have a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant work experience
  • Strong hands-on application development experience; understanding of code and logic to gather user requirements and convert them into system requirements
  • At least three (3) years of hands-on experience with, Oracle PL/SQL, including Oracle packages, procedures, functions, triggers, tables, synonyms, DB links, etc.
  • Proficiency with PHP Programming, especially PHP 7.x
  • Front-end hands-on development experience in HTML 5, CSS, JQuery and JavaScript
  • Extensive experience developing web applications
  • Working experience of services such as RESTful APIs and JSON
  • Experience with responsive front-end frameworks
  • Experience with Agile methodology and processes
  • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder


Desired Qualifications

  • Development experience on the FAA's current CEDAR application
  • LAMP stack
  • Atlassian Tool Suite
  • Familiar and knowledgeable of back-end frameworks, CMS platforms
  • Linux command line and file structure (helpful)
  • GIT and Bitbucket or another version control
  • Bootstrap
  • Native application development
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS)
