Join the Claims team as a Software Engineer focusing on Full Stack. The team is responsible for developing, maintaining, enhancing and setting a high-quality bar for web and mobile apps which assists end users in taking control of their healthcare claims and benefits. The team has a strong and integrated relationship with the product team based on strong collaboration, trust and partnership. Goals for the team are focused on creating meaningful positive impact for our customers through clear and measurable metrics analysis.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Write high-quality, fault tolerant code; normally 70% front end 30% backend
• Build high-scale systems, libraries, frameworks and create test plans
• Monitor production systems and provide on-call support

Required Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical role or equivalent experience

• Experience using RESTful APIs and asynchronous JS
• Experience with CSS, web browsers, HTTP, cookies, caching, and HTML5
• Desire to learn Scala

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in design and development
• Testing experience with Scala or Java
• Database and caching experience, SQL and NoSQL (Postgres, Elasticsearch or MongoDB

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only : The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900.
