  • Build, debug and exercise computer simulation models.
  • Generate technical solutions to meet N&V targets with mass and cost efficiency.
  • Present results that comprehend variation and generate actionable recommendations based on simulation to improve and lead the design.
  • Produce and communicate concise summaries for Directors and Chief Engineers.

Multiple areas are covered by the N&V team. Candidates potentially could support any of these areas:

  • Structural N&V using FEA methods (primary software: Optistruct, HyperWorks). Typical lower frequency range analysis between 0-400 Hz.
  • Advanced mid-frequency air and structure borne noise analysis (primary software: Actran). Typical mid-frequency range between 600-2000 Hz.
  • Multi-body dynamics simulations including controls and calibration analysis (primary software: ADAMS)
  • Propulsion mount system analysis, including internal combustion engine (ICE), electric drive units and isolated component sub-systems
  • Airborne noise evaluation using SEA methods. (primary software VA One or SEAM). Typical higher frequency range analysis between 800-5000 Hz.
