Cruise is looking for new talent to join our growing simulation quality team. As a software engineer your role will be to build and extend test automation frameworks, create and execute automated tests, and develop tools to streamline processes. This is your opportunity to impact the future of autonomous vehicles!
What you’ll be doing:
- Work alongside development teams to understand requirements, identify processes that can be automated, and improve test coverage
- Pair with Software Development Engineers in Test to design and build test frameworks and tooling
- Build tools to enhance and enable statistical analysis of quality
- Develop, document, execute, and maintain technical test cases
- Analyze test results, investigate failures, and report bugs for developer remediation
- Continuously innovate and improve tooling and process efficiency
What you must have:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical field
- Ability to write clear and well-documented code
- Proficient in Python, C++, or other OOP language
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Adept at handling ambiguous challenges through strong critical thinking skills
