As a features engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, and helping designing, customer facing features with a special focus on network security.

You are an ideal candidate if you:

• Are proficient working in C and C++
• Have 1-3 years of professional (or comparable) experience writing production code
• Have an understanding of OS fundamentals and experience working in both kernel space and user space
• Effective communication skills and collaboration skills
• Self-motivated and willing to learn new things and take on new challenges

Bonus points for:

• Experience building cloud-based infrastructure and services (e.g. web applications)
• Working knowledge of core network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, IPv6)
• Experience with network security concepts (firewalls, Snort, Umbrella, or similar)
• Experience working with cloud architectures, embedded linux, containerization (docker, lxc or similar)
• Skills in Ruby, shell scripting
• Understanding of network security fundamentals responsibility!
