About the role:
As a Network Engineer on TQL's IT Infrastructure Team, you will be joining a close-knit group of Network and Server Engineers in a fast paced, high growth environment. Our Network Engineers design, install, maintain, repair and upgrade network systems.

What you will be doing:

• Support, diagnose and fix problems, or potential problems with the network hardware, in-house software and systems, and 3rd party applications to attain optimal service capability
• Manage and lead small to medium sized projects according to budgets and schedules
• Maintain and keep TQL applications operational 99.9% of the time
• Work within the guidelines of our change management process to conduct appropriate updates
• Document technical builds and configurations, service and administer account IDs and passwords to ensure business continuity
• Troubleshoot issues relating to network (LAN or WAN) software and hardware issues
• Share knowledge amongst peers to cultivate a team environment and maintain a high-level of professionalism
• Provide 24/7 first level support as part of an on-call rotation

What you need:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent amount of relevant experience
• 3+ year of experience as a Network Engineer or Administrator
• Demonstrated experience with Cisco, Extreme Networks/Avaya, and Citrix networking hardware is preferred
• Solid understanding of MPLS, VPN, DMVPN, and BGP
• Strong background in proactive monitoring and alerting
• Ability to travel as needed - very low travel
