This team provides technical design, implementation and 3rd level support for the North America Zone Supply Chain. Technology and automation are at the forefront of what we do, to help our business meet the challenges they face daily. As the Network Engineer you will assist in the research of new technologies and obtain additional knowledge on existing solutions in support of Zone efforts and ultimately support the process of making beer! You will test and stage equipment in the lab with other team members, configure new hardware for project deployments. Perform onsite surveys in preparation for project execution including wireless surveying as needed and assist team with making updates to Standards, SOPs, and Installation Guides. Additionally, you can expect to:

  • Configure and install various network devices and services for critical 24/7 production facilities across North America Zone Supply (12 US breweries, 6 Canadian breweries, and vertical operation facilities) (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS, wireless access points)
  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
  • Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
  • Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
  • Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
  • Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
  • Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company's security team
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
  • Ability to travel to facilities within the US and Canada



Job Qualifications

  • B.S. Electrical or Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related technical discipline
  • Proven hands-on network engineering experience
  • CCNP or higher preferred (CCIE and/or CISSP highly valued) - Demonstrated desire to achieve certification
  • Understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
  • Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
  • Highly self-motivated and self-directed, with keen attention to detail
  • Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong customer service orientation and awareness needed to support 24/7 production facilities
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
