GDIT is seeking a NetOps Engineer to help supportan exciting new CloudServiceOfferingcontract, Defense Enterprise Office Solutions (DEOS). This position is contingent upon contract tasking and will require the employee to report onsite in either Fort Meade, MD or Chantilly, VA.

The NetOps Engineer will work with the ITSM Architect to identify, implement, test, and sustainNetOps tools to monitor and automate IT operations for the DEOS program.The Engineer will leverage AI/ML capabilities within or external to the NetOps tools to provideanomalydetection and behavioral correlation and integrate with ServiceNow to automate ticket creation and routing to appropriate teams.As the primary architect and implementer, you will be trusted to configure and maintain theplatformto support multiple government agencies,to help manage the DEOS environment with data-driven automation.

In this role, a typical day you will:
• Writing Event and Alert rules
• Leverage APIs for components to communicate with NetOps tools and ServiceNow
• Knowledge in selecting the configuration item bindings in event rules
• Writing Alert correlation rulesusing scripting
• Support development activities including troubleshooting and resolving issues in our dev, test and production environment.
• Actively participate in agile meetings with product and program management
• Brief customers on phone or in person for project kickoffs, progress reviews, or closeouts
• Travel to customer site, customer engagements, or GDIT office when required
• Have a proactive attitude and a willingness to "go the extra mile" to get the job done

Additionally, GDIT is seeking a candidate that has integratedNetOps tools withServiceNowto achieve business outcomes. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Acts as ahigh leveltechnical expert and addresses issues relating to systems integration and compatibility.
• Works with project managers, developers, and end users to ensure application designs meet business requirements.
• Estimates size and schedule for software enhancements.
• Reviews existing programs and assists in making refinements, reducing operating time and improving current techniques.
• Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.
• Instructs, directs, and checks the work of other task personnel.
• Responsible for quality assurance review and the evaluation of existing and new software products.

Required Qualifications:
• ActiveDoDTop Secret clearance
• IAT Level II Certification
• BA/BS Degree
• 10years of experience(additional years of experience and/or certifications may be considered in place of education)
• 3+ years managingNetOps tools
• Integration experience withITSM tools, such as ServiceNow
• Integration experience with monitoring and management of Microsoft collaboration services in a large-scale environment a plus
• Integration experience with monitoring and management of commercial cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
• Experience with Agile software development is a plus
• Ability tothrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, growth-focused environment
• Able to report onsite as indicated above
