MyNavy Portal (MNP) Web Developer
Join General Dynamics Information Technology and be a part of the team of men and women that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges. We are seeking a Web Developer to provide our Navy client with web development support in the Pensacola, FL, area.
This position can be 100% remote.
As a member of the MyNavy Portal (MNP) web services support team, you will provide services in support of 80 distinct websites. Working closely with the Naval Education and Training Command, you will create, manage, and capture statistics associated with websites with SiteGauge and Serena web applications. Proficiency in DoD and Navy regulations, and publications is required.
- Provide web services for 80 websites in the American Forces Public Information Management System (AFPIMS) environment, which includes module creation/management, page creation/management, website creation/management, create/maintain standard operating procedures, web statistics with the SiteGauge and Serena web applications, and manage Registered and AFPIMS Content Manager user accounts. Implement a dead link checker monthly on all websites. Implement a status email to all content managers monthly to maintain accuracy, relevancy, and an up-to-date status.
- Provide web services in the MyNavy Portal (MNP) environment for 6 websites which include Personnel Qualification Standards/Non-Resident Training Course (NRTC)/Rate Training Manual (RTM), NETC HQ, NETC Intranet, N6 Information Management, NETC N001, and NETC N7.
- Provide backup support for 7 websites in AFPIMS environment which includes Navy Recruiting Command (NRC), Naval Service Training Command (NSTC), Officer Training Command (OTC), Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC), Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (NJROTC), Seaman to Admiral-21 Program (STA-21), and Navy Band Great Lakes.
All of these activities are coordinated closely with NETC PAO to maintain the DoD and Navy regulations, publications, and memos for Navy public websites.
Basic Qualifications:
- BS degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- 3+ years of administrative and functional experience within a Web Development program
- Experience with HTML/CSS, HTML5, Jquery, Javascript, and a working knowledge of standard SharePoint tools within MNP.
- There is also a need for a proficiency in DoD and Navy regs, pubs, etc. for Navy public websites.

- Secret clearance
The likely salary range for this position is $48,000 - $72,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
