Technical Program Manager Monitoring Platform
Job Description:

• Develops, documents, and monitors Global Monitoring/Automations processes, procedures library as well as standards configurations and versioning controls
• Responsible for the monitoring services delivery of the Zoom global production environment, overnight on-call support as necessary
• Assist in developing and publishing metrics and dashboards demonstrating the effectiveness of the regional and Global Monitoring/Automations functions
• Own Monitoring-as-a-Service as a Product which includes identifying improvement opportunities with data
• Organizing and leading enhancement/improvement programs internally and externally with other Platforms and Engineering teams
• Accountable and responsible for the Monitoring infrastructure scalability, resilience, and security, ensuring Monitoring/Automations services delivery with Operational Excellence
• Recognize, identify and prioritize incidents following the business requirements, organizational policies, and operational impact
• Create and track operational issues tickets and improve operational efficiency
• Document all actions following the company policies and procedures
• Manage the Monitoring Platform team work-intake and KPIs

Required:

• 5+ years or more years experience in IT Infrastructure Engineering, with at least 3 years experience specifically in Project or Program Management
• Bachelor's degree in IT relevant fields, or equivalent; or an additional 4 years of relevant IT experience
• Demonstrate Strong ability to diagnose server or network, compute and storage, application service alerts, events, or issues
• In-depth practical knowledge of infrastructure management, access, and monitoring systematic flows
• Practical understanding of database management, support, and implementing database systems
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are necessary to effectively collaborate with peers and to present and explain highly technical information to stakeholders who may have limited technical knowledge
• Must be available for occasional after-hours tasks
• Ability to understand common information architecture frameworks
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and calmly with team members and technical personnel in high-stress situations
• Ability to interpret analytical data to make fast decisions, highly data-driven and analytical
• Good practical knowledge of Python, API, Ansible, Terraform, and AWS cloud

Desired:

• Experiences with Disaster Recovery plans and related technologies
• Excellent time management and team leadership skills, and ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks
• Ability to recognize anomalies from alerts-based plots
• Network engineering and system administration experience
• An analytical and problem solver
• Knowledge of the OSI stack, routing, switching, security, compute, and storage fundamentals
• Networking, compute, database administration certifications
• Agile certifications

Colorado Salary Range or On Target Earnings:
Minimum:
$97,920.00 USD
Maximum :
$181,170.00 USD
In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed, Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration base salary, bonus and equity value. We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
