ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Mobile Engineering Manager, you’ll lead a team of mobile developers, collaborate with product managers, designers, 3rd parties and other stakeholders throughout the entire development life-cycle.

This is not a fully remote role. At BlueVine, we pride ourselves on our collaborative culture, which we believe is best maintained through in-person interactions and a vibrant office environment.  All of our offices will reopen in accordance with local guidelines, and will follow a hybrid model.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead and architect state-of-the-art mobile applications using a variety of languages and tools
• Build and mentor an experienced team, set and maintain high standards of execution in the team
• Work closely with product management, in order to design and implement a cutting edge product
• Manage prioritization, resource allocation, tasks and projects
• Grow and mentor team members
• Maintain high standards of execution within the team
• Explore industry trends and recommend technological opportunities.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

• Great people management skills
• 2+ years of experience managing a fast-paced and dynamic mobile engineering team
• 5+ years of experience in Native development using modern frameworks (swift, kotlin, etc.)
• Ability to motivate people and instill ownership, reliability, teamwork and commitment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, impeccable organizational and time management skills

Bonus points if you also have:

• Experience in backend technologies (Python, Django, RESTful APIs)
• Deep knowledge in iOS development 
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
