Job Summary and Opportunity

Axos is looking for a Mobile Developer to join our Consumer Banking department. This development group is focused on building the next generation of our online banking application! Our goal is to create a seamless, all-in-one experience for our customers, and provide a platform that gives customers a full, 360 degree view of their financials. This includes everything from banking, investing/trading, wealth management/planning, and more. This role will help lead the efforts for our mobile platforms, as we are currently building out new capabilities as well as enhancing existing products. On top of that, our roadmap also includes migrating the platform to microservices-based containers running on AWS. This position may be REMOTE or on-site at any of our office locations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain mobile applications (both iOS and Android)
• Deliver fully functional, cross-platform mobile applications, developed according to quality standards
• Analyze, design, implement and integrate functional requirements into new/existing solutions
• Work closely with analysts, designers, and other team members to achieve project & organizational objectives
• Produce detailed specifications and write program codes that perform efficiently
• Test product in controlled, real situations before going live
• Deliver fully tested source code complying with code quality standards
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of systems once they are up and running

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field
• 2+ year's mobile application development using Xamarin.Forms
• 2+ years' API development (preferably using .NET Core, but not required)
• 2+ year's front-end development (preferably using Angular or another JS framework, but not required)
• Solid understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns
• API design, implementation and integration
• Version control systems (Git, SVN, etc.)
• Deployment Systems (Docker, Pipelines)
• Background processing
• Test-driven development (Moq, XUnit or similar)
• Agile/SCRUM methodology

Preferred:

• Financial services industry experience
• AWS-based microservices and containerized architecture
