Bring your passion to improve the quality of patient care.

You could put your software architect skills to work anywhere, but at Netsmart your work has a direct impact on patient care. The applications and tools we build support care providers (doctors, nurses, and therapists) so they can focus their time on taking care of their patients - positively impacting millions of people across America every year. And, WE HAVE FUN DOING IT!

In this role as a Mobile Architect, you will support our Homecare product. Homecare is a fully-integrated system made for any home healthcare organization to streamline everything from patient intake to care documentation to scheduling to billing and beyond. You will put your expertise in mobile application development to work while developing robust and maintainable iOS and contributing to the development of the architecture to ensure consistency in our delivery. It is important to understand the business logic of the application, as you will also be involved in the .NET service development on the server application. You will be responsible for composing long-term solutions while being mindful of current state and shorter-term requirements and modifying code to keep up with ever-changing regulatory requirements.

This team is passionate about the meaningful work they do and the contributions they make in improving the quality of patient care. Oh, by the way, did you know that Netsmart is one of the top 25 fastest-growing tech companies in the Kansas City area? If this sounds fun to you, please read a little further.

Responsibilities

You will work with a team of Product Managers, Developers, and QA Engineers to support our solutions in home health and hospice care. This team works in an agile scrum environment with daily stand-ups and regular brainstorming sessions to generate ideas, determine what functionality is available, and develop quality solutions to support our clients' needs. Mobile development is vital in our field, as the end-user is typically providing care in a patient's home using a mobile device for documentation.

You will be evaluated on your ability to deliver quality-architected solutions on time with limited issues in QA, responsiveness in resolving client escalations, and meeting regulatory commitments with two major releases annually, along with multiple releases for new feature functionality.

Qualifications

  • Solid experience with iOS, Objective C, HTML5, Javascript, and xCode13.2.
  • Our mobile development set-up includes iOS Native and xCode 13.2 for tablet, Xamarin.iOS 15 and xCode 13.0 for iPhone, and Xamarin.android 11.1 and Target Android SDK 30 for Android phones.
  • Experience working with electronic health records (HER) and a BS in Computer Science is nice, however a passion to learn is a must.
