About the role:
As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Business Integration Solution Architect to work with our business integration EDI team. You will be responsible for helping the team create and maintain a business integration platform by providing technical guidance, leadership, coaching, and recommendations based on your previous experience. In addition, you will identify opportunities to help keep our platform on the cutting edge of technology in the transportation industry.

What you'll be doing:
  • Actively participate, document, and lead collaborative architectural design sessions
  • Collaborate with the team to design optimal patterns, troubleshoot complex problems and provide solutions for the business integration platform.
  • Recommend and implement solutions and frameworks based on business requirements and use cases
  • Partner with Enterprise and Product architects, application teams and infrastructure engineers to identify critical deficiencies in the environment and implement solutions
  • Lead project development, system design/testing, and investigate alternative emerging technologies
  • Promote the capture and reuse of code objects and components
  • Mentor team members in software development and architectural principles, patterns, processes, and practices
  • Evangelize the integration platform across the enterprise to promote adoption while keeping internal customers and end-users top priority
What you need:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field required; advanced degree preferred
  • Deep experience in messaging (MQ, JMS, Apache ActiveMQ, MQ Lite, and RabbitMQ), API management (Mulesoft, AWS, Azure, Apigee) and file transfer (IBM Connect Direct, IBM Sterling products)
  • Experience with container/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher)
  • 3-5 years of experience architecting, designing, building, and supporting enterprise middleware solutions is critical
  • Thorough understanding of integration and middleware security frameworks including oAuth, SAML and OIDC
  • Engineering experience in software release, code refactoring, design patterns, design-driven development, continuous integration, building highly scalable applications, application security, and secure coding practice
  • Experience integrating multiple systems, applications and services using Boomi Integration platform is a plus
