As an MDG QMS Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for business process definition and support, creating/maintaining documentation; enhancing documentation effectiveness; and applying technical writing/web page development principles.

The general responsibilities of the position are the following:
Business Process Definition and Support

• Support process QMS Corporate alignment
• Represent process in internal & external audits
• Maintain and support Workday Learn Curriculum
• Support Ewims software and data entry for DFMEA
• Create and maintain iGrafx business process documentation
• Maintain process alignment across all sites
• Develop and maintain handshakes between MDG DFMEAs and other associated FMEAs
• Assist with the transition to new processes providing input on demonstrations and training
• Maintain continuous improvement and risk assessment activities

Apply Technical Writing and Web Page Development Principles

• Evaluate audience, purpose, and context of documentation
• Adhere to current technical writing principles, Micron style guide, and various technical communication and web development style guides

Create and Maintain Documentation

• Facilitate periodic document reviews
• Monitor and respond to change requests
• Determine and assign record retention schedules
• Establish and maintain approval routes and notifications
• Interview subject matter experts to acquire needed information
• Proofread and edit documentation
• Communicate with users to determine document effectiveness
