The Lockheed Martin Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) team is seeking an experienced Performance Analysis Engineer to be part of a team developing missile defense technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to adversity.
As the Systems Engineer Associate Manager for System Design and Integration, you will:• Lead a team of systems engineers• Perform system analysis and interface definition and management/ execution• Lead studies and system trades for enhanced capabilities• Perform systems/hardware/software integration• Lead failure investigations and anomaly resolution boards• Support design reviews
The ideal candidate will have both good interpersonal skills and leadership abilities as well as a solid understanding of requirements development and verification planning.
This position is in Rocket City USA, one of the greatest places to work: Huntsville, AL
Basic Qualifications:• Knowledge and application of Systems Engineering processes and one or more of the below listed Systems Integration functions:
1. System trade studies and/or System modeling
2. Requirements and Interface Control Document (ICD) development
3. System Integration, Test and/or Verification
4. Test planning and execution with an understanding of all the interdependencies
5. Design reviews• System design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Propulsion, RF, Software, etc.)• Technical leadership experience with a multidisciplinary team• Active DoD Secret clearance
Desired Skills:• Experience ensuring the physical and functional compatibility of hardware/software products throughout the full lifecycle of the program• Experience interacting with hardware and software developers to ensure mission requirements are satisfied• Experience leading teams/projects with proven results• Experience in Aegis missile system development, qualification, and fielding and weapon system integration• Experience working with Missile Defense Agency Customer• Understanding of Model-Based Systems Engineering practices and tools

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
