Software engineering is the application of engineering to the design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of software in a systematic method. Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide oversight for the IT operations resources supporting the defined application portfolio
• Act as the Service Level Owner for key applications meeting defined SLAs in support of the business
• Drive the continued adoption of DevOps into the support organization
• Leading the development resources in the design, development, coding, testing, deployment, and debugging of applications
• Work with product managers in developing a strategy and road map to provide compelling capabilities for them that helps them succeed in their business goals
• Work closely with lead engineers to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development
• Instill best practices for software development and documentation, assure designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules
• Project management - prioritization, planning of projects and features, stakeholder management and tracking of external commitments
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions
• Operational Excellence - build, deploy, monitor, and operation of production services
• Career management and development of direct reports as well as resources in a matrixed organization

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Computer Engineering or related field and or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in full lifecycle of software development projects in an agile environment
• 2+ years of experience in building and leading strong engineering teams
• Experience with MS SQL
• Experience with .NET
• Experience with Angular or other JavaScript frameworks / libraries
• Experience with CI/CD and test automation
• Deep hands-on technical expertise in building web applications
• Experience working in an onshore/offshore model

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary/hourly range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary/hourly range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600.
