Overview
Our Private Cloud organization is seeking leadership to help grow and evolve our Provisioning Engineering team. This team is responsible for delivering virtualized infrastructure for our multi-tenant and self-managed on-prem data center environments, extending our delivery team's capabilities in leveraging the on-prem data center compute and hypervisor platforms, and integrating distributed systems together truly world-class hybrid cloud.
About The Job

• You will build, grow, and develop a team to automate all processes while collaborating with ancillary teams across foundational technology to deliver an unmatched customer experience. Some of the technologies you will manage include:
• VMware or Open-source Hypervisor platform management and deployment
• Deploying and managing infrastructure as code and establishing golden paths for IaaS deployments
• Kubernetes management and administration for on-premise data center computing
• Full API self-service enablement for on-premises compute, storage, and networking technologies

• You will establish a clear and articulated vision for the continued development of a world-class infrastructure engineering strategy that achieves top-level corporate objectives.
• You will build buy-in and alignment with your peers and internal customers within digital technology to drive value-add feature delivery and enablement capabilities.
• You will oversee large initiatives within the team, including technical design / delivery of complex features across multiple systems as H-E-B improves the customer and Partner user experiences.
• You will make decisions on overall infrastructure system design, architecture, security, scalability, reliability, efficiency, and performance to maximize velocity & quality of technology delivery.
• You will hire and grow your teams with superior engineering talent at every level and develop great engineers into fantastic leaders embracing our core values of diversity & inclusion.
