Overview
Our Infrastructure Engineering team is seeking leadership to help grow and evolve our foundational technology stack. This team is responsible for delivering virtualized infrastructure for our multi-tenant and self-managed edge environments, extending our delivery team's capabilities in leveraging the edge compute and storage platforms, and stitching hundreds of distributed systems together to enable the acceleration of customer value delivery between on on-premise data centers and edge store compute in a truly world-class hybrid cloud.
About The Job

• You will build, grow and develop a team to lead successful delivery of key objectives, system health, and Partner satisfaction across multiple multidisciplinary teams.
  
  • VMWARE, Hypervisor, Software Defined Storage on the edge
  • Kubernetes management and administration for on-premise edge computing
  • Full API self-service enablement for on-premise compute, storage, and networking technologies

• You will lead the development, implementation, and operational management of H-E-B's edge strategy governing the strategic use of on-premise and cloud technology investments to maximize business value.

• You will establish a clear and articulated vision for the continued development of a world-class infrastructure engineering strategy that achieves top-level corporate objectives.
• You will build buy-in and alignment with your peers and internal customers within digital technology to drive value-add feature delivery and enablement capabilities.
• You will oversee large initiatives within the team, including technical design / delivery of complex features across multiple systems as H-E-B improves the customer and Partner user experiences
• You will make decisions on overall infrastructure system design, architecture, security, scalability, reliability, efficiency, and performance to maximize velocity & quality of technology delivery
• You will hire and grow your teams with superior engineering talent at every level and develop great engineers into fantastic leaders embracing our core values of diversity & inclusion
