- Lead and grow a team committed to building the best IT customer experience for external as well as internal users.
- Work effectively cross-functionally to drive change and influence product and process decisions.
- Help to shape thinking around designing scalable deliverables and business processes/programs to support ServiceNow’s rapid growth.
- Be both a deep technical leader and a thoughtful people manager.
- Champion engineering excellence, establishing business metrics, and drive continuous operational improvement.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have
- 12+ years of industry experience including 8+ years of hands-on experience in software development using any of the object-oriented languages such as Java or Javascript
- A minimum of 3 years of people management experience.
- Web development or full-stack development experience using front end technologies like React, Angular, etc;
- Experience in building high-performance, highly available, and scalable distributed systems.
- Experience with employee development, performance management, and delivering results.
- Problem-solving skills and the abilities to analyze quantitatively, scope technical requirements, and effectively prioritize program deliverables.
- Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Great to have - Proven experience establishing metrics for measurement of engineering and operational excellence.
- Proven experience in innovative business practices that have been game-changing for business evolution.
- Experience building strategy and executing it with speed and continuous improvement
