Overview

The Manager Site Reliability Engineering and Cloud Engineering will lead a team whose mission is to streamline processes and automate responses to events that occur in the systems under its purview. The team will accomplish this through it's use of well architected CI/CD pipelines, DevOps best practices, advanced application performance monitoring and automation scripting in an effort to increase system stability by reducing human interaction. This role ensures team is meeting goals, adhering to standards, and are assigned to projects/tasks. Additionally, this role oversees the ETL Admins, BI Admins and System Admins in executing their required job duties. Digital Products and Services team members are responsible for securely managing information systems throughout their lifecycle, including; knowing what information systems are within their scope of responsibility, understanding what sensitive data is stored, transmitted, or processed on those information systems, enforcing the security principles of least privilege and least functionality, knowing what events may constitute an information security incident, and understanding their role in security incident response activities. Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in computer Science, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, or related field, preferred.
  • Experience: 10 Years Information Technology experience, required. 5 Years Manager, Supervisor, or Lead for IT team and Cloud Architecture, Cloud Infrastructure or DevOps experience, required.
  • Licensure/Certification: Expert/Professional Level Cloud Certification, required.
  • Additional skills required:
    • Capable of managing a team across multiple large projects simultaneously.
    • Manage and monitor design, development and testing of all CI/CD pipelines that serve the data platform and it's customers.
    • Manage and monitor cloud services, on premises resources and using a variety of tools including log aggregation technologies.
    • Proficient knowledge in cloud services provider offerings and their interaction with on premises environments.
    • Proficient knowledge of the Azure stack, including but not limited to Azure DevOps, Terraform, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks and Git branching strategy.
    • Working knowledge of ETL and data enrichment principals.
    • Working knowledge of Data Lake query engines.
    • Leads research on emerging technologies to drive innovation to deliver a stable, scalable, and secure environment and effectively communicate solutions within the team and to various levels of management.
    • Assist cloud and data architects in defining the roadmap.
    • Provide assessment, strategies, advisory services and technical vision to prospects and customers as part of the data platform strategy.
    • Leverage automation technologies to rapidly deliver environments while maintaining configuration management across the enterprise.
    • Effectively manages multiple priorities with strong organization and planning skillset.
    • Analyzes DPS architecture requirements and systems/application compatibility to implement data pipelines across the Enterprise.
    • Participate in key technical and design discussions with technical leads.
    • Provides consistent and fair oversight.
    • Creates an environment that supports and respects diversity to promote creative problem solving.
    • Demonstrates knowledge of process improvement principles and applies appropriately to improvement activities.
