Talend is looking for a new leader to help build and mold a fast growing, technical Salesforce team able to deliver quality results with maximum efficiency. You will enable your team to drive solution decisions and platform capabilities, ensuring Talend is maximizing the full potential of its Salesforce platform. You will play a key, leadership role in all programs across Talend lines of business associated with the Salesforce platform. Partner with cross-functional teams to help design and implement Salesforce capabilities across all business units. Provide solution leadership for all currently available modules of the Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Communities, Knowledge Base, CPQ) including 3rdparty apps / managed packages.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage a team of Salesforce Administrators and Developers; mentor and provide direction to enable your team to deliver quality solutions following industry best practices
  • Lead cross functional teams towards predictable execution without supervision; partner with vendors and engineering teams to implement solutions that drive business value
  • Advisor and respected leader in the Salesforce ecosystem. Big-picture thinker and in-depth problem solver who takes pride in designing solutions that can stand up to anything
  • Guide digital transformation by aligning business and technology, defining the 'why and how' that drives solution success, selecting the right product features that maximize business value, while advocating best practices that enhance the customer experiences
  • Strategic leader who focuses on business transformation with unrivaled Salesforce domain expertise in functional, platform and integration architecture
  • Manage capacity and project scheduling for the team to help build/plan the IT Organization roadmap and delivery commitments
  • Guide technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce.com implementation
  • Define appropriate best practices, principles, policies, and standards for the Salesforce platform
  • Solve complex, large-scale business challenges to produce secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions that maximize the full potential of the Salesforce Platform
  • Communicate technical solutions and tradeoffs effectively to stakeholders while ensuring quality and success
  • Relentless focus to drive simplicity, automation, and sales velocity while providing the customer a world class experience
  • Work with Salesforce and other system architects to develop and lead overarching salesforce platform direction and roadmap including Salesforce licensing, product use, contract amendments, and platform health
  • Integrate business and technical processes related to Salesforce.com with other Go To Market and Customer Success applications into Talend’s enterprise-wide IT strategy
  • Conduct formal customer reviews during project execution and project completion coupled with ongoing support/optimization reviews to confirm satisfaction and ongoing ROI growth

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related experience
  • 10+ years previous experience as an architect, product manager, and/or technical project manager on Salesforce CRM platform
  • 5+ years of Salesforce management experience
  • 5+ years of Salesforce Administrator or Developer experience
  • Proven experience leading teams on time-sensitive projects including development, data migration, integration, and change management
  • Ability to shift focus and priority quickly and communicate those changes in focus effectively to all impacted teams and stakeholders
  • Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce and common go to market, customer success/support and financial business processes
  • Strong understanding and experience with Agile/Scrum development practices •Expert understanding of Salesforce products, AppExchange partners, partner consulting capabilities, and solutions
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, innovative, and rapidly evolving industry and business organization
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Collaborative approach to work with cross-functional teams
  • Motivated self-starter, able to change directions quickly when priorities shift and quickly think through problems to design and deliver solutions
  • Ability to motivate people and curiosity for technology and learning

For Colorado-based candidates: The range for this role for any candidates based in Colorado will be $111,200 – 139,000. In addition to your base salary, you will also be offered 15% bonus and benefits.
