About the Team
Come help us build the next generation of smart TVs! We're building a new platform from the ground up to take user experience to the next level for millions of users. You will be joining the team that builds and maintains the core infrastuture for developing user interfaces used across the company. You're work will have a large, direct impact on customer experience.
What You Will Do

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams - product, hardware, software and cloud engineering in the design and development of new innovative TV products Experience
  • Empowering the engineers and dev leads in your teams to succeed by identify how to measure success, and mentor them on how to achieve those goals
  • Experience in HAL layer, notification system, IPC, multi-processing, multi-threading, debugging/core dump analysis.
  • Highly proficient in C, C++11/14.
  • Experience in Shell-Script, Makefile, JavaScript, Python, git, bug tracking tools.
  • Proactive in foreseeing issues and resolve it before it happens
  • Ensuring teams have clear priorities
  • Participating in architecture discussions and planning
  • Providing technical guidance, career development, and mentoring to team members
  • Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences


About You

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or a related program) or equivalent work experience
  • You have experience developing software development managers/technical leads
  • You have 10+ years of Application development on embedded devices.
  • Experience working with SoC vendors, ODMs and prototyping iteratively based on new technology
  • Extensive experience with embedded Linux and system-on-a-chip (SoC) development
  • Ability to multi-task and drive parallel projects with tight deadlines
  • Proven strong track record of shipping high-quality hardware and software at scale
  • You are a self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced, yet at times, ambiguous environment
  • You are a hard-working team player, with a "no task is too small" attitude
  • You are a creative problem-solver who digs into root causes analytically, instead of relying on intuition
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
