DSAR is looking for an experienced AI & ML Manager to lead the projects with the focus on Natural Language Processing, Conversational A.I. along with other machine learning areas like Computer Vision and Machine Learning with audiovisual content. Target projects include Personalized Interfaces, Social Viewing and Conversational Agents as Animated Characters. The ideal candidate will possess a strong desire to build upon his or her knowledge to shape our industry leading solutions.
We're seeking highly motivated and skilled professionals with a strong background in artificial intelligence, and machine learning to lead our Advanced Research projects.
Responsibilities :

• Provide technical lead in defining overall strategy to ML & AI based projects at scale
• Lead research, requirement definitions, data analysis, execution, and enhancement of the products to offer solutions and their deployments keeping costs and timelines in mind
• Contribute to research activities and patent/IP across Disney business and research groups
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, and Data Scientists to develop high quality, robust and reliable solutions.

Basic Qualifications :

• 8+ years of experience in Computer Science, Data science, or equivalent area
• 2+ years of experience in leading a team to deliver AI based solutions.
• Experience in designing, developing, and delivering building PySpark based applications
• Familiarity with A/B or multivariate tests
• Strong understanding of mathematical concepts applied in statistical analysis
• Proven knowledge of advanced techniques in data science with when and where to apply
• Familiarity with visualization tools like Tableau
• Deep applicable knowledge and research in the areas of:
  • TensorFlow, PyTorch, SageMaker, or similar environments
• Experience of leveraging machine learning frameworks to build/prototype systems
• Experience with python and multiple libraries (NumPy, OpenCV, Scikit, Pandas etc)
• Strong algorithmic thinking and performance optimization
• Skill in functioning as a part of a team and a willingness to learn a complex, multi-faceted system

Preferred Qualifications:

• Chatbots, ontology and other NLU techniques is a big plus
• Textual search familiarity and data stores like Elasticsearch
• Experience in GraphQL and graph databases like Neptune, Neo4j
• Web service development, REST APIs, XML/JSON
• Release management, continuous integration, Git/GitHub
• Experience in AWS environments
• High load, highly scalable and distributed applications
• Messaging and asynchronous processing design
• Previous patent filing experience

Required Education :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)

Preferred Education :

• Master's degree in Computer Science (or related field)
