Mission : The System Test Engineer ensures the elicitation of the test bench requirements, the test coverage of the System requirements and quality of test cases along with the System Test Plan.

- He/she specifies the System test cases.

- He/she ensures that the test environment is set-up correctly.

- He/she executes the tests.

- He/she ensures the consistency of the test results with the test specification, the device under test and the relevant System release.

- He/she reports to the System Test Lead.

Responsibility :

- Ensures executability of the System test along with the project plan

- Supports the definition of the System Test plan

- Supports the distribution of the System Test Environment

- Participates to the analysis & review of System requirement specification addressed to the system test team

- Specifies the System test cases

- Aligns the System test specification with the Function Owner

- Executes the System test based on the defined release scope, test plan & strategy & Records test results, incl. non conformities

- Supports analysis of issues/tickets with the project team

- Supports the closing of the System test activities - Performs and participates in peer document (e.g. test plan, test specifications) reviews.

- In case of deviations, escalates to the System Test Lead and provides adequate information and proposals for decision making

- Ensures the reliability of the test execution.

Requirements

Skills:

- Good knowledge of embedded software and system

- Experience in system engineering and testing (requirements analysis/test case writing methodology, traceability concept, test case execution, automation, reporting)

- Knowledge of process models (e.g. Automotive SPICE®) Authorities:

- To request all necessary inputs to carry on team's duty (requirement specification, defect description, test environment)

- Mechanical, Electrical, Sw Engineering degree or similar
