Infosys is seeking a Lead Video Engineer. This position is responsible for end-to-end delivery of device firmware releases. This includes the development and execution of test strategies and test plans. The candidate must have domain and technology expertise to understand the business and technical requirements and do impact analysis. The candidate must be able to work with the product managers and development engineers to define & document product features and dependencies. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Test cases definition and development, play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts, deliver high quality test cases for a module, Validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

This position is based out of Philadelphia, PA . Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Philadelphia, PA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology• U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time.• Must have technical experience in directly working with CPE devices such as set top boxes, cable modems, routers, cameras, sensors and their functionalities

Preferred Qualifications• Must have networking knowledge and skills.• Must have experience with cable specifications, products and networking concepts• Must have experience in requirement analysis, impact analysis and preparing test designs.• Understanding of and experience with the full product development lifecycle, including functional and technical specifications, product use cases, user stories, implementation, QA processes, deployment and maintenance• Knowledge of QAM and IP based streaming• Experience with various functionalities like IP/QAM linear channels, closed captioning, VOD, mDVR, cDVR,
Guide, EAS, wifi, moca etc• Familiarity with Networking concepts, SNMP, TR-69• Working Knowledge on tools like ALM, JIRA, Splunk, Linux CLI command, Wireshark, Jenkins• Comfortable in some scripting language of choice ect creation, Triaging and root cause analysis.• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
