Job Description:
JOB PURPOSE: As a Lead Software Test Engineer, you will contribute to quality assurance of software systems and/or applications.
JOB DUTIES: Responsibilities of the incumbents will be to develop detailed system specifications for major business/technical support for development, integration and implementation projects. Will apply systems / infrastructure solutions to business/technical problems through customer interactions, design, debugging, testing, and integration/implementation of automated information technology systems. Will provide project management, facilitation, guidance, and assistance to extended, cross functional team members. Will work with cross functional team members on complex application problem identification, resolution, complex modules, change management processes, documentation, training and usability efforts. Will develop major system modules, programs or infrastructure based on requirements gathered from system customers. Will perform integrated testing and customer acceptance testing of system components with careful planning and execution to ensure timely, quality results.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (Electrical /Electronics ) or related area of study.
- Five (5) years progressive experience in information technology working with IBM ODM, IBM BPM, IBM MQ, IBM Data Power, Java, PCF, Spring Framework, Mainframe using Programing languages C#, Java Database: Oracle, DB2, AWS RDS Operating System Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows 10, UNIX and in Testing tools HP Service Test 11.2, HP UFT 11.53, SOAP UI, Google Postman, Rest Assured, Selenium, Spring Tool Suite, CARally, HP ALM, HP QC, JIRA, BDD with Cucumber, Jenkins, GitHub, SQL Developer and TOAD.
Alternatively will accept;
- A Masters Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (Electrical /Electronics )or related and three (3) years progressive experience in information technology working with IBM ODM, IBM BPM, IBM MQ, IBM Data Power, Java, PCF, Spring Framework, Mainframe using Programing languages C#, Java Database: Oracle, DB2, AWS RDS Operating System Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows 10, UNIX and in Testing tools HP Service Test 11.2, HP UFT 11.53, SOAP UI, Google Postman, Rest Assured, Selenium, Spring Tool Suite, CARally, HP ALM, HP QC, JIRA, BDD with Cucumber, Jenkins, GitHub, SQL Developer and TOAD.
