L3Harris -Aeromet is a Division of Integrated Mission Systems Segment with its main office is located in Tulsa, OK. L3Harris-Aeromet is established within the DoD Community as the developer and operator of special mission ISR systems. We provide special mission system design, modification, and operations with emphasis on the development and integration of state-of-the-art EO/IR sensor systems.

Job Description

• Be responsible for software development for Linux and/or Windows. Software development is primarily on Linux.
• Applications are primarily military mission systems.
• Familiarity with software patterns and/or modern design methodology.
• Object-Oriented Design and Analysis
• Familiarity with software lifecycle process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferred), and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
• Software development/maintenance experience.
• C, C++, and/or Java experience
• Window OS experience.
• Applicant must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
• The essential physical requirements of the position will be reviewed with the applicant during the interview.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Applicant must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
• Image processing development experience a plus.
• GUI design and development experience a plus.
• Hardware communications interfacing experience is a plus.
• Containerization (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes) experience is a plus.
