Principal Software Engineer

We are looking for talented, experienced software engineers to join and lead the OpenText SMB/C organization. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new product functionality and maintaining a suite of data protection products for many of the world's largest businesses. You would be part of a very tight-knit and helpful cross-functional SCRUM team. The OpenText data protection suite of products is built for the enterprise and offers real-time replication, complex migration, and high availability of mission-critical business systems. We provide our software solutions to a large number of longtime end customers, partners, and software distributors throughout the world. Innovative products, combined with the best customer service in the industry offer tremendous value to our customers and have been a market leader for several years.

You are great at

You will be :

• Designing and building software solutions for new enhancements spanning multiple technology stacks.
• Maintaining existing functionality and extensive automated testing solutions
• Working within a scrum team to collaboratively plan, design, implement and review solutions in an iterative fashion
• Communicating with external teams about requirements and solutions
• Helping ship software on a regular cadence by ensuring software quality, and corresponding test automation

What it Takes

• Computer Science or related Bachelor's Degree
• Strong proficiency in at least one common development language (C#, .NET, C/C++)
• Experience with test automation
• File system filter driver experience preferred
• Proficient in debugging and diagnosing issues

Technology Stack that we work on:

Public Cloud Offerings such as Azure, AWS, etc.

Virtualization platforms such as vSphere, Hyper-V, Xen, etc.
