Primary Responsibilities:
Seasoned full stack developer with 15 years of overall engineering experience, who has hands on experience in all areas of application development and is willing to actively participate as a developer on the team. Must have experience serving as lead engineer being able to collaborate with the product owner in documenting feature and user story acceptance criteria; understand how the feature will integrate into the current application as well as integrate with other domain and enterprise services; coordinate multiple engineers to deliver cohesive functioning features while following best practices in coding by designing single purpose, scalable, maintainable components and services.

  • Accountable for code delivery and implementation
  • Serve as the technical subject matter expert for the onshore development team and work closely with the offshore technical lead enhance and maintain the application
  • Participate in scrum meetings and relay business and technical decisions to the development team
  • Work closely with the product owner and business SMEs on design of product
  • Production support
  • Must be able to lead and supervise junior engineers

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in Java/J2EE 1.8/1.11/1.17
  • 6+ years of experience in JavaScript/Angular/React
  • 6+ years of experience in TypeScript
  • 5+ years of experience in Junit/Mockito
  • 5+ years of experience in SpringBoot
  • 5+ years of experience in Jasmine/Jest/Karma/Jest
  • 4+ years of Cloud Experience: Kubernetes
  • 3+ years of experience in MySQL/SQL


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience with DevOps Automation
  • 3+ years of experience in Jenkins
  • 1+ years of experience in Jmeter

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only : The salary range for Colorado residents is $97,300 to $176,900. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $97,300 to $176,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
