The Vista Edge Services team is responsible for delivering and securing Vistaprint's experiences to customers worldwide. Our goal in the Edge Services team is to implement world-class solutions, automation, and tools to ensure our customers can access any of our localized websites across our numerous brands from anywhere around the globe. The Edge Services team partners with groups to accelerate launches for new regions, products, and brands.
Do you want to be part of the team that develops, owns, and operates Vista's Ingress and edge security? Vista's Ingress is powered by a world-class CDN provider and our custom routing component. We handle all of Vista's customer experience web traffic generated by over 17 million global customers. As Vista embarks on the next step in its journey, we'll need to expand the capabilities of our Ingress while enhancing its security, reliability, and maintaining its incredible performance.
You'll have the opportunity to shape the future of traffic routing and experience delivery both internally and externally at Vista and tackle some of the most fun and critical challenges the business faces as we continue to grow.
What You Will Do:
We're seeking an enthusiastic lead engineer who is interested in building innovative tools and capabilities to support our business goals and the goals of our internal product-focused teams. Your ideas and solutions will directly impact the next evolution of the Vista web experience. You'll also be accountable for technical excellence within your team's product area and help create a technical roadmap that lays the foundation for success in the months and years ahead.
Your Qualifications:

• You have experience working on complex systems and leading discussions about how those systems ought to be built and maintained.
• You want to build and operate reliable, concise, and impactful systems, y ou are well versed in Javascript or other object-oriented languages, and associated design patterns.
• You have a solid understanding of transport and application layer protocols (HTTP, HTTP/2, WebSockets, etc.)
• You have fluency and experience in managing and maintaining domains and DNS systems, including automation tools and patterns that make managing those systems easier, like OctoDNS and DNSControl and a background in solving business problems with cloud capabilities; primarily AWS
• You have experience with infrastructure as code leveraging tools like Terraform, AWS Cloudformation, and AWS CDK.
• You have experience and knowledge of HTTP proxy solutions and are familiar with solutions like Squid, Nginx and Haproxy.
