Primary Responsibilities:

• Your responsibilities will include all aspects of software development and management, from design and analysis to development, implementation, and maintenance
• You must be a proactive and hardworking individual
• As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be a contributing member of a team that implements new product features, improves existing product features, while adding performance and software quality metrics to our codebase
• The Lead Software Engineer will work closely with technical leads, product managers and business analysts to move ideas from concepts to scale and bring these game-changing ideas to market

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science (or equivalent)
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in design & development using Java/J2EE frameworks with emphasis on building Micro Services and Web Services
• 5+ years of experience with Javascript, Typescript, Node.js, React, experience with React ecosystem, such as Node.js and npm, state management library, CSS, HTML5, Webpack, Babel, Lerna, Jest, Cypress
• 3+ years of experience working in cloud such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience developing APIs and microservices to support web, mobile, and backend clients
• Great understanding of software architecture, microservice orchestration, and the design trade-offs involved, proficiency in implementing Design Patterns and Principles
• Proven competency in TDD, CI/CD and Performance Engineering
• Writing efficient and testable code using technologies such as Java, Spring, Spring Boot, REST, Microservices, Queue managers like (Rabbit, Kafka), Junit, NoSQL database like MongoDb or ElasticSearch

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience optimizing runtime and resource usage in large-scale, high-throughput systems
• Ability to champion high-quality engineering practices, take ownership, and mentor junior technical staff
• Local to our Eden Prairie, MN office with the ability to work a hybrid work schedule
• Demonstrate solid communication skills, with a focus on clarity and attention to detail

The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada/New York City residents is $97,300 to $176,900.
