Job Description Responsibilities:

• As a Dev Lead drive the Technical team in an Agile development process.
• Responsible for enacting Scrum values and practices.
• Enables close cooperation across all roles and functions.
• Has strong understanding of the overall software delivery lifecycle and activities.
• Promote and participate in the continuous improvement of structure, processes, tooling to enable the teams to deliver more value.
• Code, design, and testing in a heterogeneous technology environment e.g. JavaScript, HTML, CSS, etc.
• Identify opportunities for process and tool improvements and drive those from concept to implementation.
• Engineer a world-class platform with an eye towards rapid iteration and creative problem solving.
• Ensure quality and completeness of the product through unit, component testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing capabilities.
• Adheres to architecture standards, risk management and security policies.
• Contribute and collaborate in creation and consumption of open, standards-based solutions, while working with existing J.P.Morgan technologies and infrastructure.

• Experience of testing at the unit, component, integration, and end-to-end levels.

• Strong knowledge and experience on Javascript, Java, Web Framework.
• Strong knowledge and experience on Testing Automation, such as BDD, Cucumber, etc.
• Strong knowledge and experience on performance profiling.
• Strong knowledge and experience on build pipeline, such as Jenkins, etc.
• Knowledge and experience on Cloud related such as Kubernetes, Docker, GKP, AWS.
• Good experience in Single Page App development using React for creating interactive UI's, Virtual DOM, Component life cycle, React, JSX, React Router ecosystem and concepts.
• Good experience in Application development in TypeScript or JavaScript and its code rules.
• Good experience in customizing CSS frameworks like Bootstrap and Foundation using CSS pre-processors LESS or SASS.
• Good understanding of Material UI, Chakra UI, or similar component libraries.
• Good experience in Axios, fetch, or similar promise based HTTP clients, RESTful, web services, GraphQL, Node.js, NPM, Git, Webpack, and other open-source build tools.
• Good experience in writing unit test of complex components using Jest and React Testing Library. Component tests using Cypress and other mocking tools.
• Experience in page optimization (performance), understanding of performance consideration for React applications.
• Experience in Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Server-Side Generation (SSG).

Desirable:

• Understanding of React, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript skills for implementing web technologies.
• Understanding of multithreaded software design.
• Experience with other Agile practices.
• Participation in Test Driven Development or Business Driven Development (BDD).
• Practice of Continuous Integration or Continuous Delivery.

Qualifications:

• Preferred overall 10+ years of experience in delivering technology solutions.
• Preferred 8+ years of web development experience.
• Preferred 8+ years' experience with HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Preferred 5+ years experience with Jenkins or similar tools.
• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
