Lead Network Engineer / Site Lead (KP)
The ideal candidate will have 10-plus years of management and leadership experience with in-garrison and forward-deployed organization operating in austere environments.
Duties Include:
Manages and is responsible for all aspects of operations and management of the contract staff and reports directly to on-site and remote customers.
Responsible for the successful completion of all tasks, deliverables, and projects.
Responsible for the health, welfare, performance, and professional development of the contractor workforce.
Develops project documentation and project plans.
Continually communicates expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising results; coaching and counseling team members; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training new team members; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.
Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing solutions.
Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with internal teams and external organizations.
Verifies performance effectiveness by conducting system audits of technologies implemented.
Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization quality control and quality assurance standards.
Contributes to team effort by assisting team members with accomplishing milestone deliverables.
Additionally, the site lead will provide the below:
Provides technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned projects, including contract and subcontractor management.
Typically supervises assigned staff, may include subordinate supervisors and managers.
Develops technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reporting.
May also perform high level technical services on assigned tasks.
Conducts planning and provides recommendations to client on task workload.
Manages risk tracking process.
Attends customer meetings and serves as primary client liaison.
Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the client.
Coordinates development of deliverables and products.
Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
Participates in special projects as required.
Reviews future project requirements and develops strategies for future work.
SCOPE: Manages a medium to large team or department focused on multiple areas. Medium to High complexity.
QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 10+ years of related work experience.
Additionally, it is required that the candidate has the following qualifications:
a. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
b. 8570/8140M - IAT III
c. Minimum Security Clearance - SECRET/SSBI
d. Experience managing a similar Government program or task order
e. Experience leading enterprise IT services support in multiple locations
