SOFTWARE ENGINEER IV FILM TRACK



WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?



Job responsibilities will entail collaborating with team members, product owners and customers to develop applications to service the needs of movie studios, independent film distributors, production companies, and others in the entertainment field. Projects will include developing new applications, integrations to third-party systems, developing new features in existing applications, refactoring and re-architecting existing features and being a contributor of ideas within the organization.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?



  • Experience with ASP.NET (webforms or MVC) and C# is required although retraining from other
  • Experience wiring databases to forms and websites, ideally through object-based data layer mechanisms and multi-tier systems.
  • Experience with Visual Studio or an equivalent high-level IDE is desired.
  • Experience working in team based, source code-controlled environment.
  • Design and develop solutions at every layer of the stack: Angular, C#, and SQL Server.
  • Write clean, well-structured, maintainable code and contribute to team code reviews.
  • Participate in scrum development process.



WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED


Must-Have*

  • Minimum of 6 years experience with ASP.NET (webforms or MVC) and C# is required although retraining from other technologies and languages such as Java is available for talented individuals
  • Minimum of 6 years experience with wiring databases to forms and websites, ideally through object-based data layer mechanisms and multi-tier systems.
  • Minimum of 6 years experience with Visual Studio or an equivalent high-level IDE is desired.
  • Minimum of 6 years experience working in team based, source code-controlled environment.
