We are seeking a Lead Java Engineer to join a our team of software engineers and full stack engineers. The technology stack is primarily comprised of Java Rest services based on Spring framework, job pipelines using Kafka, AKKA & MySQL and UI based on Angular stack.
A successful candidate will be architecting scalable, resilient solutions and colloborate with technical and business stakeholders. The candidate with be mentoring team of engineers.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with delivery teams and business stakeholders to design robust and reusable solutions
• Collaborate with technical delivery managers to estimate delivery effort and prioritize deliverables
• Mentor software engineers and lead software engineering best practices ( automated testing, architecture design patterns, reusability and efficency)
• Facilitate solutions, technical architecture and framework development
• Coordinate troubleshooting and resolution of issues related to cross-platform application architecture

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience in software delivery & architecture of high-scalability environments / applications
• 4+ years of experience with Java, Spring and Angular or React framework
• 3+ years of experience with application persistence layers, caching (e.g., MySQL,Oracle Redis)
• 2+ years of architecting event streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka)
• Experience with CI/CD with Jenkins/ Openshift or Kubernetes

• Health care industry experience
• Agile development processes
• Ability to architect resilient and high-scalability applications
