Who you are:

As a Lead iOS Software Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of iOS Engineers to develop and maintain iOS solutions for our many clients. You will work closely with the project team to architect and deliver solutions that provide real impact for the client and the end-user. Interacting with the project team and client regularly allows you to provide input across the product while pushing it through its entire lifecycle. You are part of a larger iOS team that regularly meets and trains to evolve their iOS skills through formal training and group knowledge sharing. Your commitment to scalability and high-quality code makes you an asset to your team, the department, and Bottle Rocket. You create things that matter.

What you will do:

• Lead project development team of 1-2 developers on a project; distribute work among team members taking into consideration their abilities and interest
• Help guide solutions for feature implementation for other Engineers on your team
• Present project work to relevant stakeholders within the company
• Conduct technical risk and feasibility assessments on requested features
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and team members

What you bring to the position:

• 5+ years’ experience working as a developer writing code and 4+ years’ experience in native iOS application development
• Expert knowledge of Swift and UIKit
• Experience using CocoaPods, Swift Package Manager, and Git
• Experience consuming REST API's
• Experience in SCRUM and Agile methodologies

Bonus Points:

• Experience using third-party frameworks such as Nuke, Adobe, Google and Facebook
• Experience using Atlassian suite of tools such as Confluence and JIRA
• Experience using SwiftUI
