Primary Responsibilities:

• Contribute code, tests, automation, application design and architecture to an agile team of engineers working across the application stack and portfolio.
• Collaborate with scrum teams in grooming user stories and developing acceptance criteria so that we can deliver value to our customers.
• Solve technical problems to discover solutions at any level of the stack (backend, frontend, database and infrastructure)
• Create an accountability framework and actions with engineering to drive architecture and design consistency during platform modernization and data migration.
• Communicate, learn, and share ideas across teams.
• Perform code reviews, guide development team and manage deployments
• Effectively lead and own delivery for the work of multiple development teams while using your highly technical skills as a hands-on software architect
• Engage in technical discussions as a subject matter expert, have a point of view to offer and have strategic influence with the product, business stakeholders and other engineering teams to design and develop new product offerings and experiences
• Partner with product owners, designers, and business stakeholders to build teams' roadmaps and establish goals for the teams based on strategic insights
• Help the teams improve efficiency, quality and speed of their development processes
  Collaborate with other engineering leaders and teams to drive leverage and technical craftsmanship in the larger engineering organization

• Design reusable components, frameworks and libraries
• Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges
  Influence or provide input to forecasting and planning activities

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of coding experience with one or more of the follow languages; Java, Go, Python, or JavaScript with a willingness and ability to learn new ones.
• 5+ years of Agile development experience and knowledge of Agile ceremonies and practices
• Experience working with at least one of the following: continuous integration / continuous delivery tools, REST API development with Sprint Boot, Serverless architecture, Containerization, IaC, public / private cloud(Azure), application observability and/or messaging / stream architecture
• Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications:

• Development experience in Java and related tools/software
• Experience in building application using Spring Boot and Spring framework ecosystems
• Experience in working with a database like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cosmos DB
• Experience in public cloud products (Docker swarm and Azure) cloud-native architectures, serverless.
• Experience deploying apps on Amazon, Azure, or Google PAAS
• Experience with "DevOps" - Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery frameworks, data security and integration service.
• Experience with the following:
  • Streaming technology - Kafka
  • Data processing - Spark and Airflow
  • Logging and Monitoring - Elasticsearch and ELK stack, Prometheus, and Grafana
  • Microservices architecture - NodeJS, GraphQL
  • Experience in Innersource and Open Source code contributio
