Lead Front-End Engineer

Overview:
We are looking for a talented Front-End Engineer to help us continue to grow and build compelling new experiences using a best-of-breed tech stack. Bring your passion for delighting customers and deep experience building cutting edge web apps.
About the Role:
- Take lead on designing, implementing, and maintaining existing and new frontend architectures
- Establish quality engineering standards and expectations through leadership and guidance with other frontend software engineers
- Work with Product and UX design teammates to build and enhance intuitive and consistent user experiences across many product-based user interfaces
- Work with architecture team to collaborate on new designs and enhancements for existing and new microservice architectures
- Work with backend engineers to establish web service API contracts
About You:
- 12+ years of frontend programming experience
- Proven ability to guide and lead software design and implementation across multiple teams and products
- Ability to set direction and guide engineering vision while working alongside other engineers
- Experience working with Vue.js and Vuex or ability to articulate concepts from comparable modern day JavaScript frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular)
- Experience designing and building single page applications
- Experience working with UX teams to create excellent and efficient UI experiences
- Excellent knowledge of all frontend technologies (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, SCSS)
- Knowledge of unit testing and best testing practices using Jest or other testing frameworks
- Proven experience establishing the automated testing and deployment of web based applications
- Experience working with microservice architectures
- Familiarity designing and working with RESTful APIs and their related architectures
- Experience working in agile engineering environments (e.g, Scrum)
- Back end development skills, especially in Java
- Conceptual familiarity with OAuth
- Knowledge of developing and working with serverless concepts and stacks
- Experience with micro front ends
- Experience working with Ad Tech
- Experience working with Postgres, DynamoDB or other RDBMS and NoSQL data stores
- Experience with AWS or GCP

Compensation:
- Annual Base Salary Range: $130,000 - $170,000
- Annual Bonus Target: 10% of base salary
