Strategy and Technology is conducting a search for an experienced and highly qualified "Lead ERP Domain Architect" who will provide strategic leadership for the transformation and architecture of the company's S&T portfolio for the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) organization. The "Lead ERP Domain Architect" will establish a vision that determines the direction for the ERP organization, continually enhances the health of our technology landscape, and fulfills business objectives.

What you will learn and contribute to

Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Resource Planning, the "Lead ERP Domain Architect" will be responsible for the health and effectiveness of key architecture processes such as standards management, lifecycle management and architecture governance. He/She will drive the ERP architecture, strategy and governance of technology selection and delivery across Nokia's businesses, applications, platforms and technology services.

The "Lead ERP Domain Architect" will play a critical role in modernizing Nokia's ERP portfolio to drive an improved experience for our customers and employees. In addition, he/she will serve as an expert for ERP architecture tools and technology and will provide strategic consulting in the areas of external trends, architectural best practices, and adherence to standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with technology, cross functional, and business stakeholders to develop an Enterprise Resource Planning architecture vision and strategy that is aligned with Nokia's objectives.
  • Partner with all stakeholders and identify opportunities to restructure ERP delivery strategies that could provide individual business units a transformation strategic advantage.
  • Lead the assessment, development of strategy, roadmap of requirements, and execution of integrating and consolidating ERP and EDW systems.
  • Lead short and long-term ERP architecture planning and oversee the archtecture execution of strategic projects for our global business units that operate with multiple ERP systems.
  • Collaborate on an architecture governance board responsible for ensuring effective and efficient use of S&T resources and assets, and architecture and portfolio decisions that enable the long-term business strategy.
  • Drive a "can-do" culture that is focused on business outcomes and partner with product, engineering, and operations organizations to enable a high level of automation and data driven decisions.
  • Turn business strategy into systems design by developing an architecture framework that enables adaptability, scalability, availability, and re-use.
  • Manage and mentor a highly technical team responsible for the creation, implementation, and maintenance of architectural strategies.
  • Direct the development and documentation of the strategy linking Nokia's application, data, solution, digital and technical architectures.
  • Maintain a full understanding of all Nokia's technology implementations and integration with external service providers.
  • Provide leadership in addressing the gap between enterprise architecture strategy and the ERP organization's readiness to adopt.
  • Identify emerging technologies to help drive solutions that increase business value.



Your skills and experience

Experience:

  • 10 years as an enterprise architecture leader, developing architecture strategy, IT transformation, and roadmaps, and leading a global team of architects.
  • 15 years of progressively responsible IT experience and leadership roles, including IT strategy, Enterprise systems Consolidations, Business Process improvements, integration managements and application development.
  • Effective partnerships with key IT, Cross functional, business leaders and teams.
  • Track record of effective recruiting, management, coaching and development of high performing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Developing business cases for technology investment and value generation.
  • Leading a Global IT transformation or other large change initiatives successfully.
  • Active collaboration with an architecture review board.
  • Be Agile and understand Portfolio management and project management leadership.


Skills:

  • Visible leadership skills and executive presence; can motivate individuals and teams to achieve program and project objectives.
  • Strong business awareness, a sound understanding of key business processes (e.g., quote to cash, purchase to pay, supply chain) and the way they impact business performance.
  • Expertise in current and emerging ERP technologies, and their potential business impact.
  • Expertise with continuous delivery tools and DevOps practices.
  • Expertise with serverless microservices architecture, Data Management, API design and integration skills leveraging modern data architecture methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to build and sustain strong working relationships with both business and IT professionals, and to influence decision makers and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills, evidenced by the ability to get things done in a matrixed environment.
  • Proven people leadership abilities and a high level of emotional intelligence (EQ).
  • External orientation: able to focus on the needs of customers and consumers and build external relationships that benefit the business.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to explain technology solutions in business terms; an effective listener and communicator.


Education:

  • Undergraduate degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related field.
  • An MS, MBA or related advanced degree is a plus.
